As I have said before this is why I absolutely love my job…cuteness overload with this family of German Shepherds and their Puppies.
I had the pleasure of meeting parents Major and Poppy and their trio of cheeky little German Shepherd Puppies a couple of months ago. Such a fun afternoon in the studio chasing the puppies around, trying to get the puppies together along with mum and dad LOL…
I get ask all the time how do I get those shots….the answer really is lots and lots of patience, you have to love what you do, dogs are not machines and sometimes they will do just as the please, wont sit, stay, take a treat…It makes your job all the more rewarding when you pull shots like this out of the bag.
Here are some of my favourite images from this awesome session…check out the uber cuteness with the wonky ears of the pups…LOVE IT…
Have a great day…much love Furrtography xx
Wow what can I say about this session apart from it was absolutely awesome. I got to spend the morning a couple of months ago with Bella, her best friend Ella and their Pony Atlanta. The session was booked by mum as a birthday surprise for her daughter Bella who adores her Pony Atlanta.
The girls were so excited to be having their pictures taken, they picked out outfits to wear and made sure Atlanta had matching red ribbon to go with Bella’s dress.
It’s always great fun when working with children, especially when they have their own ideas for pictures. Bella has such an amazing bond with Atlanta and certainly has no fear…she’s such a sweet girl who just wants to spend all of her time with her pony….who wouldn’t right?
Her are some of my favourites from this session.
Have a great day, much love Furrtography xx
I really do have the best job in the world, who doesn’t want to photograph a litter of Cockapoo puppies at 6 weeks old with mum and dad, I had the best morning ever.
Photographing puppies really is my favourite thing to do, at such a young age they are soo squishy and uber cute. I was asked by a client if I could photograph her dogs puppies for some mementos for her to keep along with something that their new owners could also have as a keepsake. Having a Cockapoo myself, I really fell in love with these little girls and boys, and If I could have would have easily snook one home with me….LOL..
Anyway…here are some of my favourites from their little session with me…enjoy cuteness OVERLOAD….
Have a great day…much love Furrtography xx

DID SOMEONE SAY TREATZ??
Something a little different from Furrtography. How awesome is Bokeh the Cockapoo showing us his treat catching skills in the studio. Bokeh is a 10 year old Cockapoo and was a total novice in catching treats a couple of weeks ago…..who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
Photographing dogs catching treats is such a fun thing to do…We get to capture some great crazy expressions from the dogs and they get to snaffle up all the treats thrown at them…LOL..win win situation for everyone.
Anyway it’s been a whilst since I blogged anything with being so busy, so I hope that you enjoy this little set of goofy pictures from Bokeh.
Have a great day everyone…much love Furrtography xx
Well done to Equine Competition Winner Esme and Hayley who won 1st prize and a 16 x 20" canvas in our Equine Competition that we ran a couple of months ago.
Hayley chose to have the images and her session done at Daisy Nook Country Park, this a lovely place with plenty of opportunities for photographs amongst the parks natural beauty. Esme and Hayley were both absolute stars and rocked their session.
Here are just a selection of my favourites from their time with us.
If you are interested in an Equine Session why contact us at [email protected]
I had the pleasure of photographing Ollie and Cooper a couple of weeks ago at our studio in Mossley. Ollie is a Cockapoo and Cooper a Cocker Spaniel. Both dogs totally rocked their session, Cooper was soo full of energy and his little tail never stopped wagging, Ollie was a little more chilled and gave me lots of kisses. I often get asked how the heck to I get dogs to sit still?....With a little patience, lots of fuss and reward and some very quirky noises we can crate you images just like these.
Here are some of my favourites from this Paw'some session with Ollie and Cooper.
I had the pleasure of photographing Ralph the German Shepherd a couple of weeks ago at our Studio in Mossley. What can I say about Ralph? ....Well he certainly is king of the head tilts as you can see from the images below.
He's just the sweetest of boys, so happy and he totally rocked his session and certainly loved the camera.
Here are some of my favourites from his session.
If you are interested in booking a session with us why not drop us a message.
It's been a while since I last posted some Equine Images on our Blog, Meet Leah and Bridget.
Leah won our Equine competition that we ran last year, and choose to have her shoot with her Horse Bridget at Daisy Nook Country Park. Leah was pretty nervous about having her photo taken, but within minutes she was loving it and I think Bridget was too. Its pretty clear to see from the images that both Bridget and Leah have an amazing bond, it's just so lovely to see. Here are some of my favourites from their session.
Looking forward to kicking our Equine Commissions off in the spring with another fantastic competition.
Roll on the warmer weather :)
Did you know that we offer Puppy Photography for Dog Breeders?
We did this session just after our Christmas break at the Studio, how adorable are these 8 Old English Bulldog Puppies? This shoot was requested by the breeder as he wanted a momento from his 1st litter of Old English Bulldog Puppies, memories for him to keep but also to share with the Puppies new owners.
We often get asked for a group shot of all the Puppies together or with Mum, Sometimes it's not always possible to get them all sat together at the Studio or at a home session, if this is the case we can work our Photoshop Magic and provide you with a composite of them all looking super cute. See below image for what can be achieved.
If you are a Breeder and interested in this type of shoot why not give us a call or drop us an email. We would normally photograph the Puppies around 6-8 Weeks old.
These are some of my favourites from this session. It's cuteness overload
It’s not very often I get to take my own dog to the studio for some pictures. I really wanted some nice upto date ones of him and seeing as we had just purchased some new backdrops from Baby Prop Shop I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. I must admit Bokeh isn’t the easiest Dog to photograph, he doesn’t sit long and does get fed up pretty quickly so I had about 30 mins maximum before our session was over.
Here are a few of my favourites from his session…I love the fact he’s smiling and these are definitely for framing later this month. 💙🐶
I was delighted to be asked to provide our commercial photography services to Naturecan, who are a global Pet CBD brand, supplying Pet CDB products globally.
I was really excited and interested in the products that Naturecan had to offer, Being a dog owner myself and having a dog that has various issues with Skin allergies, Anxiety, plus also being 9 years old now I was Interested to try the CBD Oil and Treats myself.
We had an amazing two full days of photography on location, using some very beautiful and very willing dog and horse models. The team at Naturecan are amazing to work with and they really made me feel so welcome.
Here is a little bit about the products Naturecan offer.
Cats – CBD Oil
Dogs – CBD Oil, Various Dog Treats and Tropical Pain Relief Gels
Horses – CBD Oil and Tropical Pain Relief Gels
What is CBD and what benefits does it have for out pets -
Early studies have shown CBD can help combat a number of conditions like:
Digestion
Anxiety
Joint Issues
Chronic Pain
Allergies & Skin Conditions
Harnessing the power of CBD to help dogs live their best lives is still a new concept, meaning that large-scale research is somewhat inadequate.
However, preliminary studies look promising, and UK vets may now prescribe CBD for dogs. In fact, many pet owners see life-changing results after giving their pets CBD.
Naturecan were happy to let me try these on our dog, and I seriously cannot believe the changes it has made to him, His anxiety has calmed down, he's much more relaxed in himself when we have visitors and on walks and doesn't stress as much, His skin seems to be so much better and now doesn't require an apoquel a day. He's also much more energetic too! All in all he seems much more of a happier and healthier dog.
Please take a moment to check out their website for more information on CBD and the products they offer, as mentioned they ship their products globally.

I have been meaning to Blog about this photoshoot for sometime, I have promised myself that 2022 will be a year of blogging more content from our Photoshoots.
I had the pleasure of working with the My Muezza team on creating some funky images for their new Halal Cat Food Range. They wanted images that were something a little different rather than just a static pose of their own cats. Well we all know what Cats can be like...very stubborn and will do as they please.
This shoot and working with the team really was fun....Each Cat had its own personality, Muezza the Maincoon Kitten was a delight to work with, very cheeky and just loved the camera.
Please take a moment to check out their website, We did most of the photography for that too, the images and the way the website has been designed look fantastic and I was proud to be a part of the team to create something really special.
Here is a little about Muezza's Morals and values -

We had the pleasure of Photographing Little Maud the Puppy Fox Terrier just before we were locked down for the 3rd time last year. Maud has joined our Pup and Up Program and I am so excited to welcome her onboard.
Photographing Puppies is one of my favourite things to do, they are so inquisitive, Cute, Funny and full of character and believe me Maud has it all. She was such a good girl on her portrait session and I made sure she got lots of cuddles. I can't wait to meet Maud on her next session outdoors in April.
Here are some of my favourites from her session with us.
If you are interested in one of our Puppy Packages please feel free to check out the website section below.
Wow....I seriously cannot believe its been way over 12 months since I last did a blog post. 2020 was a crazy year with the studio being closed on numerous occasions due to the Pandemic. We still managed to have a great year though taking all that into account. So 2021 and yes we are still locked down and the studio remains closed, really hoping for some good news in the next couple of weeks as to when we can re-open.
I decided to give myself a couple of goals...one is to blog more this year, but I also wanted to go for my Associateship with the SWPP. It's been on my list to do for the last couple of years and I just kept putting it off. Well I can't say I don't have the time now so the deed is done and submitted! GULP! Wish Me Luck...LOL!
Anyhow...this little Fella is Jet...He's a friends new puppy and I needed a couple more shots for the Associateship with Black on Black. So I asked if I could borrow him. We walked up to the studio and got set to take some pictures. He was an absolute little star considering he's so young and FULL of energy. We managed to nail it in a short space of time and headed back to his mum's for a social distance handover. Here are some of my favourite shots of him....I am pretty sure you will agree that he's just awesome and sooo cute...
Got to Love a Black Dog on a Black Background.... :)
]]>One of my favourite places for Dog Photography is Dovestones Reservoir which is situated on the edge of Oldham and the Peak District National Park. The views are stunning across the reservoir making it the perfect backdrop for Dog photography.
I have photographed many shoots at Dovestones, there are so many photographic opportunities and its great for dogs that like to adventure and really be themselves.
We always start with a couple of posed shots of the dogs using the beautiful landscape as the backdrop, then it's off for some fun running around chasing a ball or their favourite toy. We normally end the session with the dogs taking a paddle in the streams, that's of course if your dog likes the water.
Here are some of my favourite images from a couple of sessions that have taken place at Dovestones. If you are interested in a location shoot here why not get in touch.
Meet Rossi the adorable German Shepherd Puppy who came to see us a couple of months ago. Rossi has joined our Pup and Up program, and for his first photography session he came to see us at the Studio in Mossley.
Rossi has the most heart melting eyes, and he really was a star on his first sitting considering he had not been with his family long.
Rossi can certainly rock a head tilt and I think you will all agree he is just the sweetest.
We are almost ready for Rossi's next session, which will possibly be a location session and I cannot wait to see how much he has changed and grown.
Here are a few of the images from his first portrait session.
If you are interested in one of our puppy packages why not check out the dedicated section on our website.
I absolutely love photographing Kittens, they are such curious cheeky characters and are so much fun. I had the pleasure of photographing this stunning Maine Coon Kitten, Meet Ugolina Sky Beyrouth, this lady was a natural in front of the camera, very playful and happy to strike a pose.
She has such amazing markings and colours and is already winning titles and awards at shows. Here are some of my favourites from her studio session.
This is Ugolina's sister I photographed last year, another stunning example of a Maine Coon.
Maine Coons are such an amazing breed of cat and I think I have fallen in love with them. I have had the pleasure of photographing quite a few Maine Coons this year and this lady was absolutely stunning. Meet Celestine, she's a beautiful Maine Coon Show Cat and has gained many awards for her stunning markings and beautiful looks. As we know Cats can be pretty stubborn and it takes a lot of patience to photograph them but she really was a pleasure to photograph, so playful and mischievous.
Here are some of my favourites from her session.
Meet Bonbon The Chow Chow...He came to visit us a couple of months ago for a Pup and Up session. Here he's only 8 weeks old and such a bundle of fluff. ]]>Sorry if we have been a little quiet on the blogging of late but it has been an incredibly busy year for us at Furrtography. I have been going through and archiving some images from last years sessions. I couldn't resist posting a little blog on Viv and Edward the French Bulldog Pups. Both Viv and Edward are on our Pup and Up program and this was Viv's 1st photo shoot at home, she's 8 weeks old in the pictures and her big brother Edward is around 6 months old.
I certainly got lots of cuddles from Viv whilst Edward was just trying to pin me down and lick my face....LOL! I just love photographing this pair...they are so comical and have amazing head tilts. Its just cuteness to the MAX!
Here are some of my favourites from their session.
Enjoy!! :)
We've been a little busy in the studio and on location lately and are a little bit behind on our blogging. So I thought I would spend some time this afternoon catching up on those things.
This is a session that I had a couple of months ago. Meet Koda and Dexter who came to our Studio for their Paw'traits. I have photographed Koda before when she was a little younger. The family now have a new addition in Dexter and wanted me to capture some images of them together and individually. Koda is the lighter of the two dogs she's a Husky X Malamute and is 1 year old and Dexter is a Malamute who is 6 months old. It really was a great session and both dogs would strike a pose for a gravy bone! Here are some of my favourites from their session, just check out how happy they look in these images.
I had the pleasure of photographing Hoozer the Golden Doodle a couple of months ago over at St Anne's Beach. It's a great location for Dog Photography and very Dog Friendly. I met Hoozer and his Mum on a beautiful sunny day and the sky was so blue.
Hoozer loves to play and it's clear that the beach is one of his favourite places to go. He's such a handsome Golden Doodle and he certainly can strike a pose for the camera. Here are some of my favourites from his fun session.
I had the pleasure of photographing Pogo at Lyme Park a couple of months ago. She's a beautiful Cockapoo, full of mischief who just adores her tennis ball!
We had lots of fun around The Cage and grounds at Lyme Park, throwing her ball and getting lots of action shots. She sure can sprint and leap so high in the air! Go Pogo Go!!!
Here are some of my favourites from her session.
Please excuse us as we are a little bit behind on our Blogging with being extremely busy over the last couple of months.
Meet Obi, he's a 7-year-old rescue dog from Manchester Dogs Home. I had the opportunity to photograph him a couple of months ago at Dovestones Reservoir with his Owner.
Obi is such an adorable character with a big personality, we spent the morning taking some nice portraits of him before having some fun with his ball. As you can see from the delight on his face....the ball is his favourite toy....EVER!
Here are some of my favourites from his session.
Enjoy :)
Why not check out our previous post from Dovestones, it certainly is a great place for location photography.
This was one of my favourite Equine Photography Sessions to date because it was totally too cute. Meet Ava, Alice and Marrs.
We were commissioned last year by Ava and Alice's Mum last year to photograph her daughters and their Pony Marrs for a Christmas gift for her family.
We had to sneak Marrs our from his stable, and Ava and Alice were told that they were going to a Birthday party, so they wouldn't spill the beans around the family. They arrived in beautiful matching party wear, looking totally adorable. Alice kept asking where the party was and where the birthday cake was!! LOL!
We had a really fun morning, walking around a lovely woodland area, the girls were fantastic and Marrs the Pony was just so chilled out. Here are some of my favourites images from this beautiful Equine session.

Meet Star the Cocker Spaniel, she came to visit us at our studio a couple of months ago for some Paw'traits with her parents. She is the most beautiful Black Cocker Spaniel, so very sweet natured, loved a good old belly rub and loved to give kisses and cuddles.
We had lots of fun in the Studio using different props and even photographed her on our black background, where she looks stunning!
Here are some of my favourites from her session!
Enjoy :)
This was Etty's 3rd Pup and Up session with Furrtography and we thought for this portrait session we would head over to Formby Beach where we could have some fun in the sand and sea.
I have been photographing Etty since a puppy and she certainly is a live wire with lots of energy. I had this idea of getting some still portraits of her before she got too wet......well that went out of the window within the first 5 minutes as once she was let off the lead she headed straight into the waves.
It's been such a ball photographing this little madam, she's fun, energetic, crazy with her doodle dashes and very loving, everything a Cockapoo should be!
Here are some of my favourites from her session!
Too see Etty's previous shoot please click here!
It's been such a successful 2016 for Furrtography, our best yet. We have photographed so many beautiful breeds of Dogs and I thought it was time to get back to some blogging so you can see just how adorable those breeds were.
Meet Dottie the Dachshund. She came to visit us at our studio in Mossley twice last year. Here are some images from her 1st session with us. She was a delight to photograph, her little tail didn't stop wagging!

Introducing Poppy
I travelled over to Stoke on Trent to meet Poppy the 3 year Old Spaniel and her family a few weeks ago. This commission was part of a gift voucher purchase and a present from a family member. I love photographing Spaniels, they have so much energy and are so focused and Poppy did not disappoint. We went to her favourite place for a walk, to the local park and then onto the common. This allowed us to get a mixture of portraits and some real fun action shots. I love how Poppy's eyes are totally focused on retrieving her toy in some of these shots. She was a real joy to photograph and such a beautiful girl.
Here are some of my favourites from her session!!
All this photography malarkey is just soooo tiring......Zzzzzzzzzz
Meet Peggy she's a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. For Peggy's on location Portrait session we ventured out to a beautiful place called Padley Gorge which is over in Derbyshire. It's a stunning location with plenty of opportunities for beautiful portraits, swimming and lots of running around.
We really had lots of fun with Peggy, she's such a beautiful happy girl, full of life, energetic and she loved the water.
Here are some of my favourite images from our morning out, these images really do show her true character!
Dovestones is one of my favourite places for Dog Photography, it's beautiful scenic surroundings make for an awesome backdrop and beautiful pictures.
I was commissioned to photograph Beano a couple of months ago, he's a beautiful French Bulldog.
His Mum Jodie often takes him to Dog Show's and he's won lots of awards so he is really used to all the attention and really knows how to work the camera and strike a pose. We had a great afternoon on Beano's Portrait Session.
Here are some of my favourites from his session.
Photographing Pup and Up's is one of my favourite things to do, it's so exciting to see how each Puppy has changed and matured from each session that we photograph.
Etty is an American Cockapoo and this was her second session photographed at Temple Newsam in Leeds, It's a beautiful park and really great for photographing Dogs as there are so many beautiful locations within the grounds.
Etty has changed so much and is growing into a beautiful little girl, although I have to say that she certainly kept me on my toe's with all the energy she has, she never stopped running around and playing with her sister Darcy.
Here are some of my favourites from her Session, looking forward to catching up with her soon for her third!
It was a great pleasure to Photograph Boston and Buddy the two Boston Terriers at our Studio a couple of Months ago. Two adorable little guys with big personalities, they would do anything for some sausages and cheese!! it really was a great day and we had so much fun!!
Here are some of my favourites from their session.

We had a lovely walk through the woods with Beau and her Mum. Beau was being her usual Whippet self and dashing around at what seemed a 100 miles an hour! LOL! I was wondering at some point if I would capture anything of her standing still :)

Dovestones is one of my favourite places on location for Dog Photography. It's a beautiful place and located only a few miles from where I live. It boosts stunning views across the reservoir and is a favourite for Dog Walkers. I had the chance to photograph Toby a couple of months ago (please excuse me as I am a little behind on blogging). Toby is a beautiful Border Collie, on the photo's below he is 6 months old. We was a total sweetie and so well behaved for such a young Pup. He had a great time chasing sticks, having a quick swim with the ducks and he was such a poser! Work that camera Toby :)
Here are some of my favourites from his session.

Formby Beach is a fantastic place for Dog Photography, with its long sandy beaches and beautiful silky sand dunes, it really is a must!
We decided that for Finn's third session of his Pup and Up that we would head out to the beach. Finn had never been to the beach before so it was going to be interesting to see what he made of it. I think we can safely say that looking at the pictures below that he absolutely LOVED it!
They say that Dogs don't smile, but check out the smiles on Finn's face!!! He had a blast and it was so much fun photographing Finn once again.
He's growing up into a stunning beautiful Sheltie! Roll on his forth session in a few weeks time, I can't wait!

Being an Equine Photographer in Manchester really takes me to some beautiful locations, I had the pleasure of Photographing Laura and Macro a couple of weeks ago over at Knott Hill Stables and Livery. It's a beautiful location with stunning views across the North West.
Laura had requested that the portraiture needed to be natural, nothing to staged or posed.
Marco's is a Haflinger, a very stunning looking Horse, and he was Fantastic on the day, ever such the poser!! It was really difficult to choose the images to blog from this session as there were so many good ones!
Here are some of my favourites of Laura and Marco Photoshoot. Hope that you enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago we had our CEO's best friend Kizzy come visit our new Photographic Studio in Mossley. Kizzy is a Lurcher Cross and a Rescue Dog from Hounds First.
Kizzy is one of 10 pups born on the 28th August 2013 to mum Lena after she was taken into foster care by Hounds First Sighthound Rescue on the morning she was due to be put to sleep. She was lucky enough along with her brothers and sisters to find a very loving forever home.

Greetings my fellow furry ones!
It's been a while since I posted a blog post about me Bokeh The CEO of Furrtography.
We have recently just received the keys to our own studio and I thought it only right that I be the first in there to strut my stuff :)
The Hooman aka Lisa set up some lights on a fancy black/white background and I sat and posed on the chair looking all regal, of course there was plenty of treats in it for me.... well if she wants me to pose and playbow she better bring the chewy sticks! :) We even got a few outtakes.....LOL!
We really had a lot of fun in the studio over the weekend and are looking forward to a great exciting time for Furrtography.
Here are some of mine and the Hoomans favourite pics from the weekend.
Have fun everyone
Bokeh the CEO
It really was a beautiful drive up to Newburgh, the sun was shining and I knew we were in for a great photography session with Dino.
Well what can I say about Dino....Oh my what a beautiful Doberman, such a happy, bouncing bundle of gentleness. He really was a superstar. My aim for the day was to capture Dino's true character, so we started the day getting some nice portraits, then it was onto having some fun and capturing some action shots with his favourite rubber ring...!
I had a really great day with Dino and his family, so very welcoming.
Here are some of my favourite photo's from our session.
I had the pleasure of photographing Diesel and Megan a couple of weeks ago. Diesel is a 7 year old New Forest and such a character! I think I made a friend that day as he wouldn't stop following me around and was very interested in the camera!!
The aim of the session was to capture Diesels true character, but also capture the relationship between Megan and Diesel. We started off in the paddock and stable area and then onto the fields where Diesel could run free.
We had a really fab shoot and Diesel certainly knows how to strike a pose!
Here are some of my favourites from his session!
Introducing Finn's 2nd Pup and Up
It was great to meet up with Finn again for his second Pup and Up session and see how much he had grown and changed. His second session was photographed at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester. It's a beautiful park where dogs can run free off the lead, there's also a stunning woodland area with sweeping paths.
On this session I wanted to capture and photograph Finn's true personality, we played fetch for a while with his ball, and then went for a walk around the wooded area which made great for some beautiful Portraits of Finn in the Bluebells.
Finn really is the most adorable and sweetest Sheltie I have meet, he certainly knows how to work the camera.
Here are some of my favourites from his session!

I was delighted to be approached by Superstar Pets and Vicky Brook to work on a special project called Herbie The Hound.
I was asked to provide high resolution images of Herbie so that these could be used for an up and coming animation series and book for children aged between 3 and 5 years old.
Herbie is a very loveable 10 month old Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen, and his specialness is his Frenchyness!!!
Herbie has been brought to life and animated by the very talented Superstar Pets in a very unique way and and is the brainchild of Vicky Brook, a mum who gave up her high powered job when her youngest daughter, Florence, now 16, was diganosed with complex medical and mental health needs at 6 weeks old, alongside older sister Emily, now 21, who was diganosed at 17 with Addisons Disease.
The aim of the series is to be fun, a little crazy (ooo laa laa) and educational for the Children, In Herbie's first episode he goes back to school and teaches the children the importance of school and how be can be a fun place to be.
Herbie had his official launch at the Dorchester Hotel on the 16th April with the help of Natasha Hamilton from Atomic Kitten and was a huge success.
You can follow the hilarious adventures of Herbie The Hound here, and also follow him on Twitter @theherbiehound
Why not download Herbie's episodes and theme tune here! :)
For a sneak peek check him out on youtube
The images here were used by Superstar Pets for the series animation and are also featured on the Herbie's official website and Herbie's promotional material.
We were over the moon to be featured on the Pawtrait Perfect Website with some of our images from a recent session we did with Millie and George at Dovestones Reservoir.
Here are the images below that were featured! :)

Meet Loki the Bengal Kitten, I say Kitten he thinks he's more of a dog....fetching socks from the wash basket, growling when his mum and dad try to take them off him. He really is into everything....LOL!
This really was a great session, Cat's are pretty hard to photograph normally as they are so independent , but Loki and his brothers were naturals and pulled out all the poses for the camera.
Here are some of my favourites from the session. :)
Interested in more Cat Portraits from Furrtography why not check out Qwerty and Georges Blog post
]]>I had the pleasure of Photographing Stanley the Bolonoodle and his Mum Jenny a couple of weeks ago.
Stanley certainly was full of energy but was a natural in front of the camera, giving paw and tilting his head in an adorable, very cute fashion. He really was just the sweetest little guy.
Here are some of my favourites from the session, check out his little smile! :)
]]>
Here are some of my favourites from the Charity Event held for the Boxer Dog Rescue North West.
How adorable are these Boxer dogs.
]]>After looking after her sisters Cats, Michelle and Mike enjoyed the experience so much that they made the decision to adopt their very own furr'babies, and into the world came Qwerty and George. There is a couple of weeks age difference between the two Kitten's and they were from different litters but they arrived on the same day.
It didn't take long for them to become a double act, using such classic techniques as "you distract and i'll get", "you jump on them at 2am in the morning and i'll do it at 4am" and the "oohhh what's inside the duvet cover" which never gets old.
They were overjoyed during the Christmas holidays to find they had their very own adventure playground in the form of a Christmas Tree!!!, which kept fainting and falling over all on its own and i'm fairly sure that they had more presents than Michelle and Mike combined LOL!
Qwerty and George are certainly much bigger in size and personality since these photo's were taken and have recently started taking their first steps into the bigger world know as the garden but still love to return back inside for cuddles with Mum and Dad
It was so much fun Photographing such mischievous little Kittens.
Here are some of my favourites from the session!

Meet Finn the beautiful Sheltie Puppy. He's just had his first Pup and Up Session with Furrtography, the first one of four photographic sessions documenting his growth till he's 12 months old.
The session was done indoors has he hadn't had his vaccinations yet.
I have to say what an adorable little fella he was. So very cute and very well behaved.
He totally melted my heart and I cannot wait till his next session in a few months time.
Here are some of my favourites from his session. :)
They were running an article called My Dog Crush and it was all about Cockapoo's. Bokeh being a Cockapoo himself instructed me the hooman to send some images that we had taken of Cockapoo's from last year.
We were delighted to have 4 images published, and one of them was of our very own CEO himself.
Here is below checking out how handsome he looks in the magazine and giving it the once over....LOL!
Also featured in the Cockapoo article was the ever so classy and most famous Cockapoo to date Miss Darcy, Max the Cockapoo from Jessie the Cockapoo and Max too and Amanda Drage who is a fantastic artist.
Check out this months Copy of Dogs Today Magazine and find out why The Cockapoo is such a fantastic, loving, playful breed of dog!
Enjoy :)
I know I am biased but Cockapoo's are one of the most well natured, fun and loving dogs you will ever meet. I was recently commissioned by a client of mine to Photograph her two Cockapoo's Dexter and Coco and also her Friends Cockapoo Max and her friends Shitzu at Formby Beach near Southport.
It was a pretty blustery day but bright blue sky's and sunshine shone! These dogs had soo much energy and as you can see from the pictures they had so much fun. We had a ball that day, capturing them running, chasing, playing in the sea, it really makes my heart sing when I see dogs having so much fun!
It was really hard to choose my favourites but here's a selection from the day at Formby :)
They loving referred to themselves as three poo's and a shitz which made us giggle! :)
This was one of the last shoots we did in December at Alderley Edge Country Park. Meet Teddy and Tilly the beautiful Border Terriers, just look at Teddy working that pose!
Here are some of my favourites from the session.
Here's to a fantastic 2015!!
Enjoy :)
He's now 5 months old and we met up with him again a couple of weeks back, and went over to the local reservoir in Glossop where his Mum walks him every day!
What a change those three months have made!!! I have never met a young Pup thats so focused. He's absolutely adorable and so full of fun! We got some great shots of Leo being himself, he's loves the water, sticks, and tennis balls.
I think we totally captured Leo's true personality and I think it reflects in the photo's below on the blog, how can you resist those beautiful eyes!
Here are some of my favourites from our second session below.

Meet Jenga and Rubik, A very ball obsessed Jack Russell and very very fast Whippet!!!
I had never photographed a Whippet on location before and knew he would be a challenge being so so fast. I managed to capture Rubix in full flight chasing a ball, and I have to say its one of my favourite action shots I have taken.
Here are some of my favourites from the session we shot in a lovely buttercup field.

He's a cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier who's had a pretty bad start in life and currently has to be muzzled at all times around other dogs.
He's now been given a second chance in life and is loved and cared for by his new owners and finally found his forever home.
We took Flump to a secure location for his photoshoot, where we could remove his muzzle, so he could be himself and have the time of his life.
He really was an adorable, lovely, friendly little guy and it's such a shame he was given a bad start.
You have to love a happy ending!!!!
Here are some of my fav's from his session.
]]>Seriously how adorable is this little guy? I am so excited that his Mum booked us for a Pup and Up and I cannot wait to see how he's changed in the next couple of months.
His older brother Eddi also made an appearance too!
Here are some of my favourites from his home session below
Enjoy :)
Bella's mum Sarah who's wedding we were lucky enough to shoot wanted images of her being her normal happy self, jumping in and out of the water and running around with the family on a walk like they did most weekends. We captured images of Bella running around with her Sister Labrador Lotti, they looked like they were having so much fun.
Sadly Bella is now no longer with us…and has gone off to Rainbow Bridge…..
The most important part...don't for one second think that dogs they aren't family, they may have paws and a tail but its a tail that always wags for you and long after they've gone they will have left their paw prints across your heart.
xx

Meet Bauer who is named after Jack Bauer from the series 24. He is an absolute adorable bouncy Labrador, so friendly and full of energy.
We were lucky enough to be commissioned to photograph him by his mum Paula. We started out shooting some nice portraits at home, but seeing as he was so bouncy and not wanting to sit still for very long we decided to hit the road and go on location at Cheethams Park in Stalybridge where he normally goes for his walks with his mum.
He was in his element, running, jumping and swimming in the water. He really is a water baby as you can tell from the images we shot on location. I think we captured Bauer's true personality on this shoot, here are some of my favourite images from his session.

Rachel is a qualified and RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with 17 years experience.
The workshop consisted of lots of intense theory for the first half of the course, we learned about how to assess the injured patient, how to try and handle and restrain injured patients, we learned about haemorrhages, different types of wounds, Poisons, Hypothermia and Hyperthermia, Shock, Unconscious, collapsed patients, fractures and the list goes on...
The second half of the course we learned about CPR and how to administer this to a dog using Casper the Resuscitation Dog and also how to treat and bandage dog's paws and ears.
I have to say being a beloved dog owner and also working with dogs the course really opened my eyes to how vulnerable our dogs are both in the home and out on walks/location.
I would seriously recommend anyone that own's a dog or works with dog's that this course is a must and that the information that you learn within the course is vital if your dog ever becomes ill or injured.
I have to say a big thank you to Rachel Bean and the team at Academy4dogs for hosting this course, it was extremely informative, well delivered and well structured.
Attached are a few candid pictures that I took on the day of the practical sessions using Casper the CPR dog and the real dogs that we practiced bandaging.
Please take a moment to check out Canine First Aid's Facebook page and also Rachel's Website
Many Thanks!

Oliver originally bought this as a Christmas Present for Emma as a surprise, as she's crazy about her four legged family.
We arranged to meet on location where Emma and Oliver walk their dogs, its was a lovely quiet place and somewhere where Oscar the Japanese Spitz and Daphne the Pomeranian could run free.
They had requested that we capture both their dogs true personality…just them being themselves, running, jumping and fetching sticks.
We had soo many good images to choose from, here are some of my favourites.
Hope that you like.

]]>Meet my friend Max the Cockapoo, as previosly mentioned he and Jessie are good friends of mine and we often go on playdates together. This time I sent the human aka Mum to shoot Max's third session of his Pup and Up whilst I spent some time with my dad in our local park.
I told mum, that as Max was 6 months old, that he would be full of life and energy and she would need lots of patience to capture him sitting still.
she told me that with the help of John, his daughter and some home made treats that they managed to get some awesome photographs of this little fella… well I say little, he's almost as big as Jessie now.
Just check out his cuteness set to Max in these images below. We even got one of Jessie the Cockapoo chilling on the bean bag!
If you want to see Max's first and second session's please click the links below.
I cannot believe how much he has changed within six months, I think he's gonna be a big um :)

They are a great bunch and organise Cockapoo meets in lots different areas of the county, i've been on a few of them now and met lots and lots of new friends.
Once a year they have a get together of all the other Cockapoos and their hoomans to an event they call “The Cockapoo Games”, it's great fun, we get to play all over the place, trying flyball, steeplechase and they have a fantastic agility display team called the A1K9's who are very very clever bunch of dogs. The event was held at the Woodland Waters Holiday Park in Lincolnshire.
I instructed my people that this was something we shouldn’t miss and to organise a pop up studio so all the other Cockapoos could have photos like mine.
The weekend itself was perfect for camping (an activity I had yet to try!) but the thought of spending an entire weekend in field full of other cockapoos was really exciting.
Once I had inspected the marquee I set up my position outside to meet, greet, sniff and wag tails with all our clients and fellow poo's as they waited patiently for their turn for photo's.
Lisa… AKA Mum.. worked really hard getting top notch portraits, I think she photographed over 50 doggies in one day whilst Jason..AKA…Dad.. took photos of all the events that were happening. (Blog on this to follow).
I'm pleased to say it was a great success and at the end of the day I think it was the most tired i've ever ever been.
Selected below are photographs of each doggy that had their portraits taken in our pop up studio.
Looking forward to the Cockapoo Games 2014 and meeting my friends again!

We hadn't photographed Benny before, he's a 15 year old Collie cross, a real character even though he's an old fella.
We were commissioned by their mum as she wanted Christmas gifts for family and friends. The first image on the blog was made into Christmas cards which were being sent out to all the family. This session again was shot in their own home using a backdrop, soft box and fake snow.
Here are some of my favourites which the human was commissioned to take.

Are we Done yet Mum?
Meet Beau, he is a cross Collie and 14 years old. The shoot was arranged as a surprise Christmas gift for his Mummy, so we weren't allowed to post sneak peaks on our Facebook page. The session took place in the owners home so I wasn't allowed to travel with the human…aka…Mum. She told me that Beau was the perfect gent and was willing to don Christmas hats and attire to make the portraits even more special and for his Mummy.
These are two of my favourite shots from the session, hope that you like.

I wasn't allowed to travel with her on this occasion but I knew that she would do an excellent job and I couldn't wait to put my paw of approval on the images.
Arashi and Akira are completely stunning dogs, they have such big beautiful dark eyes, how could you resist those little faces, Akira just looks like a little fox on these images.
She took so many good photo's from the session, and it was hard to choose which to blog, but here are some of mine and mums favourites.
I can't wait to see the results from the next session of Pup and Up and to see how much Akira has changed and grown.

This was Max the Cockapoo's second session of his Pup and Up. He's just over four and a half months old in these pictures and you can see him changing at a rapid pace from the first session that my humans did.
As I have said before Max and his sister Jessie are good friends of mine and we often go on playdates together.
On our first visit I think Max was a little over whelmed with me being there, but on our second visit after our introduction by his dad John, we were charging round the house whilst Jessie sat there and observed the mayhem…
He really is an adorable little fella and I know my mum is smitten with him, she just wants to take him home and cuddle him.
It will soon be time for his third session and I am really looking forward to see how he has changed again.
If you missed the first session, here is a link to it….

I really had a great time photographing her, she was just adorable and really knew how to work the camera.
Here are some of my favourites from the shoot.
Hello fellow pooches and you humans too....
I recently went on location with my people just check on that standards were being maintained and that the quality of their work was pawfect.
They were there to photograph the new brother of Jessie the Cockapoo, who is a very good friend of mine. Jessies new brother is Max, a lovely chocolate Cockapoo who has been keeping the whole family on their feet.
In these photo's Max is 10 weeks old and such a lively furry ball of fun and mischief, of course these times are precious, we don’t stay puppies for long and in no time Max will be the same size as Jessie and Me.
Being C.E.O I was very professional and helped to put Max at ease so my humans could do there stuff. Jessie and me observed the first of Max's pup and up sessions from the garden and I explained to her that there were 3 more photography session to come, each one at regular intervals of Max's first year so we could document and capture how he changes from a little puppy to a proper dog.
Jessie told me all about the fun she was having now that she had a little brother to play with and that he was such a personality. Of course my humans didn’t just photograph Max, they made sure that Jessie was included in the photos as well, even I made a cameo appearance in one or two candids afterwards.
It was great fun and I have to say that my people did Max and Jessie proud, just look at the wonderful images below.
I cant wait for the next session and the ones to follow, I bet I hardly recognise Max when I see him next.
and not forgetting his beautiful sister Jessie the Cockapoo

Enjoy ~ Bokeh CEO of Furrtography
It's all about a little training, being patient, lots of cuddles and rewards. This shot probably took my parents around two hours to get, first I wasn't playing ball and wanted to sleep so they had to take a break. But after I woke they coached me to jump up and put my legs over the chair, It took a few attempts but me being all clever I soon got the hang of this and got lots of rewards of chicken and lots of cuddles were given.
My dad was holding the chair all the time and was always nearby to stop any accidents.
My advise to any pooch having their picture taken, be a little awkward and be a bit of a diva as that way you get more treats :)
Here is the shot that we ended up with, what do you think?
